Inverted Tray Ceiling

If you are looking to add beauty and value to a brand new home, one of the ways you can do so is by adding an inverted tray ceiling to a room. You can add this feature to any room that has a roof truss above it. It is commonly added to the Master Suite to give it a sense of volume. An inverted tray ceiling adds at least 18” of ceiling height, and is a beautiful architectural feature. As you can see in the photo above, its a major structural change from a typical flat ceiling, and needs to be noted in the blueprints. We love adding this character point to a house because it add such dimension and richness to a room!
